Please share your thoughts on a door color
I want to change the color of my front door. The colors with a check mark on the strips are all in play. I'd like thoughts/opinions/advice on the options. Here are my thoughts. Please help me clarify them. If it makes a difference the trim is a warm cream white.
I love the blue, but it, along with the house color, is very close to the regional sportsball team colors, so I think I am going to use it for the back door where it is not seen from the street. As much as I love it I don't want to come home and think 'go team!' everyday.
The oranges on the lower right are my preference. I love each of them with the green. Orange is my favorite color and citrus tones are my groove. Problem is next door neighbor has that as their door color. I really don't want to be 'twinsies'. I know no one owns a color, but at the same time I want it to be different. If it was down the block I wouldn't care. Should I get over it and go with what I prefer anyway?
The other three are coral thru salmon. I love them with the green but they almost seem a bit cartoonish. Of these I really love the center strip top color, but feel like the lower left strip center is a better fit for the house color.
Help me decide, please?
