Having "flutters" lately.
Hey all, ive been back and forth on the forums over the last 5 years or so. I had an ablation 8 years ago for excessive PVCs (30,000+/day). It was successful and have only gotten the occasional pvc after drinking alcohol the day before or just an adrenaline kick. For the last 5 or 6 years, I began experiencing a different sensation...more of a "flutter" in the chest. It always lasts for no more than 2-3 seconds at a time. Usually when lying down in bed and sometimes itll happen randomly when standing around.
I talked to my cardiologist about it a couple years ago. He didn't seem concerned. He said anything thats lasts only a couple seconds at a time and is far and few between(usually a couple episodes a day for a week or 2. Sometimes it would only be a few times a month.)... is nothing to worry about. Echo is fine as well.
So for the last few days, these flutters have emerged again. Not a crazy amount, maybe a dozen a day. I've had really bad Globus/acid reflux for the last 2 months.. and am wondering if my Vagus nerve might be the culprit? If I lay on my right side.. or sit up on the couch, it triggers these flutters. When u feel my pulse, it feels like like a quick few beats, then maybe a pvc and then it slows to regulate, then it repeats, sometimes. Just kind of erratic for a few seconds.
Needless to say. It sucks. As you all know. Just trying to see if anyone has experienced similar? Thinking they are PAC runs or possible SVT spurts.. just not sure at this point.
