Good afternoon Fathers,

I really need some advice here. I just found out that the priest who baptized me used to say "we" baptize instead of "I" baptize before being told to change it in the 1980s. He said he was initially told that it was okay to use the "we" formula when he was ordained, and was told that this was actually not okay several years later, so clearly this was not his fault. My baptismal validity was not affected, since he switched to the correct formula years before I was born, but what about the others? Am I obligated to reach out to the diocese, or should I assume they already took care of it?
