I plan to visit CERN this year, what are your tips for the visitors from the general audience? I hear that CERN is being shut down for a big replacement, are all sites closed for visit?

I'm not educated in your field, I'm a very layman enthusiast. A person without deep knowledge nor understanding, still excited to visit, see, touch and observe. Take me as a 42 years old with the enthusiasm of a 5 year old.

So to say I'd be very happy to visit the premises, gift shop, screenings etc.
