AB - Best approach to make sure this grass recovers?
Disclaimer: I am relatively new to lawncare as this is our first property we lived in that has a backyard, so I have limited knowledge overall aside from some initial research and just general mowing.
With spring almost in full force, I have this large patch of dormant grass (among other small patches) in my backyard. Due to the way the snow melted and proximity to the back door, this is likely a combo of snow mold + dog urine over the winter (although she frequented other spots more that don't look this bad)
There's still resistance when pulling the grass so I'm assuming that it isn't dead. Since temperatures are still somewhat inconsistent is this just a case of waiting for conditions to improve for the grass to recover, or is there additional action I can take in the meantime? I have raked the area to remove some of the dead grass but that's about it so far.
