SW Coastal Path Oct 2026
First solo trip out of the year for myself due to life/work commitments changing. Approximately 14 miles covered across the SW coastal path, 1 nights camping, pleasure fishing and book reading.
Nights sleep went better than expected, was that hot I slept on top of the sleep mat, nothing on and just the sleeping bag led across the top of me. Was woken by crashing waves and the sounds of fishing boats going out in the morning.
Sleep mat needs changing out, whilst its insulation level was great at keeping the ground temp away from me I felt every little bump and lump underneath me.
Wanted one coastal trip this year before doing more inland a bit more.
