Teeth becoming transparent from insomnia?

Has anyone else noticed that their teeth are becoming transparent or like basically see trough Over time?, I’ve suffered from insomnia for a year now. (3-4) nights a week no sleep, and it’s honestly making me really insecure, I didn’t change anything in my routine and brush twice daily. I don’t have any pain, no acid reflux and i dont clench my teeth.
could there be some kind of connection between insomnia and my teeth literally breaking down, even without pain?

im planning to have them checked this week. But if really like to know if anyone else has noticed this too.

Insomnia feels like a slow death.

Chronic insomnia feels like slowly dying, night after night. Every night I don’t sleep, I feel less human and less “ present” in general. I feel like there is a bubble around me that I can’t get out of, and I’m completely alone inside of it, while watching everyone else move on with their lives. I feel envious of people who can simply sleep. It feels like genuine torture, especially when you don’t understand why this is happening to you. insomnia isn’t just about not being able to sleep and feeling tired. It can take away the ability to work, think, and even speak properly. It can bring depression, anxiety, frustration and what not. Research has consistently linked insomnia to a significantly increased risk of suicidal thought, suicide attempts, and suicide.

When you develop insomnia, you start to realise how easily you can be left behind. Especially by docters who dismiss your symptoms as ”stress” instead of taking them seriously. and even by the people around you, who come with useless ‘ solutions’ like vitamines and herbal remedies, as if you haven’t tried everything yet.

insomnia is not just in your head, it is not a mental health issue. it is a physical illness, yet people still treat it like a mental issue that you’re somehow responsible for.

Why is it that insomnia is treated so differently?

Chronic insomnia will be the death of me

The process is taking too long, the advice is ineffective, and the medications are failing. I have fought for so long for nothing, only for doctors to refuse to prescribe the only medication that actually works for me, while referring me to a therapist for 'stress'. Being told to visualize 'being a leaf on an autumn day' after four days of total sleep deprivation feels completely disconnected from my reality. Mirtazapine is far less harmful to my body and mind than the physical and mental toll of not sleeping four days a week.

I am so, so, so sick of talking about this with therapists and doctors, because this is not my fault. There is nothing I can do about it. I never want to talk to another professional about it ever again. I just want to be left alone and given some understanding. I seriously wonder if some neurologists have ever gone five days without sleep, because it feels like they don't comprehend the gravity of the situation when I say that my life completely stops if this insomnia does not get better. To the people that have had severe insomnia since a young age, how do you deal with it? how do you go to work everyday, function in society, and have motivation to pull through everyday?

that said, if ”living“ doesn’t take my life away, insomnia will.
