170R or 180R?

Was wondering about opinions on people who have owned them. What, if any really are the major advantages of the 180R over the 170? Is it really worth the extra $ for a 180R or should i just pick up a used 170 and call it a day? Bonus, Shocker AMP vs either.

Gentlemen...behold

New school or old school 👀? Decided to do an update to the sensor on the SFT boards to take two different types of sensors. No more hunting old school parts that may or may not exist in a few years ;)

Made some Eblade eye covers. Plan on doing them in colors for my markers.

Some home made Eblade eye covers. Made a small mold last night and decided to go for it. I planned on doing some in Red and green to match some of the markers I and people I know have. Still a bit rough around the edges but once I do some post processing and get the rubber dialed in they should be better. Always wanted different colored eye covers ;)

E1 Button pads ready in ~1 week

E1 button pads will be ready as soon as the anodizing-friendly glue arrives!

After some testing, I’ve found the right glue for the job. It holds the pads securely in place, but peels away cleanly when the time comes—so no messy cleanup. 👍

I’m trying to get a rough head count of how many people are interested so I don’t massively over-order glue.

If you’re interested, let me know! 😊

Eblade button pads ;) Which type looks better?

Made some urethane button pads for the eblade/E2. Always hated having to dig my fingers into the frame with gloves on to try and activate the buttons. With these, button presses are effortless and feel really nice. I prefer the smaller of the two without the island. Which one looks better in your opinion?

Early E1/WorrFramE/WorrBlade Wave/Deuce prototypes.

Just some early wave trigger concepts. Not particularly impressed with the ergonomics or the ability to walk the trigger given the limited space in both the E1/WorrFramE or WorrBlade frames. The most shallow (top left) feels the best to me. It allows me to walk the trigger much better than the other two but that is just my preference.

I have a few more concepts/revisions to make to improve on the 3 designs, but this trigger style is not for me, so feedback from those who enjoy this type of trigger would be helpful in designing something that feels good for everyone.

E1/WorrFramE/WorrBlade Trigger Prototypes + thoughts + feedback

I've been working on reproducing some discontinued E-Blade/WorrFrame/WorrBlade parts, and I finally printed the first prototype triggers in resin.

These are still prototypes, so they're mainly to check fit, ergonomics, and overall appearance before moving on to stronger production materials.

The triggers are about ~40% less wide than the original Eblade triggers or their varriants on the WorrBlade or WorrFramE and feel much closer to what a modern trigger feels like.

I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of the design. Any feedback on the shape, style, or anything you'd change is appreciated.

9v 1Ω solenoid reproduction (or close)

Hi everyone 👋
I’m looking for help sourcing or having a custom enclosed push–pull solenoid reproduced to match an existing unit. It's a two piece push/pull solenoid with odd geometry and specs.

I already have a working reference part — I’m trying to replicate the geometry and electrical behavior as closely as possible.

Mechanical spec (reference unit)

  • Round enclosed push–pull solenoid
  • Body diameter: 25 mm
  • Overall height (including armature stack): ~18 mm
  • Separate guided armature / plunger
  • Short stroke application (~2 mm effective motion)
  • Used to lift a lever/sear (no impact/hammer action)

Electrical / drive conditions (measured operating target)

  • Supply: 9–10 V pulsed drive
  • Coil resistance target: ~1.0–1.2 Ω
  • Peak current: ~7–8 A (theoretical V/R limit)
  • Drive method: short pulse (~4 ms)
  • Repetition rate: ~10 Hz intermittent duty (~4% duty cycle)

Capacitive assist used on the supply rail:

  • 10 V, 2200 µF reservoir capacitor

Power level (instantaneous, not continuous)

  • ~65–75 W instantaneous electrical power during pulse (V × I at peak conditions)

What I’m looking for

  • Manufacturer or shop capable of reproducing this form factor + coil spec
  • Or guidance on which solenoid class this falls under for OEM sourcing / custom winding

Notes

I already have a working reference unit, so I’m not trying to validate feasibility — just trying to match an existing design as closely as possible or get it or something close produced in small quantity.
