It’s obviously not what it’s really about, but I like to think that it’s about a guy who’s in “love” with his roommate. She has a boyfriend, and even from the narrators room he can hear the two of them making out on the couch. She asks if he has to leave, and due to the awkwardness, he wishes he could say no. He goes out, and meets with another friend of his. They hook up and have a nice time together. He’s drunk and has class in the morning, eventually deciding to skip because of how hungover he is. He and the girl sleep in and order food, they have fun watching Planet Earth and brainstorming tattoos. Without even realizing it, he’s gotten over his feelings for his roommate, all his attention on this new girl.
