Ownership is over

Really sucks that they are pushing this shit so badly man. I remember a time when you bought a game, and it came with a bunch of stuff, and of course a physical copy of the damn game. Now it’s all going to be digital, and I hate it.

What's a moment in fiction that never fails to make you emotional?

Rewatching the God of War Ragnarök EFAPs reminded me just how hard that story hits. No matter how many times I see it, the final conversation between Kratos and Faye leaves me emotionally wrecked. Her last words to him carry so much love, understanding, and faith in the man he's become that I end up bawling my eyes out every single time.

"The culmination of love is grief, and yet we love despite the inevitable. We open our hearts to it... To grieve deeply is to have loved fully. Open your heart to the world as you have opened it to me, and you will find every reason to keep living in it."

It got me thinking: what pieces of media have had a similarly profound emotional effect on you? Whether it's a game, film, book, or TV show, what's a moment that never fails to hit you in the feels, no matter how many times you experience it?
