Hauling 606 tons plus Caboose with one S282 and she stalls out: I am dumb?

Hey yall! Delete or move this as needed. Im hauling 606 tons up from the harbor to the military base and stalling out on wet rails.

Do I suck or is the grade just that much higher than the rated 2%?

Got the safety popping and sand at full. Tried all kinds of positions on the cutoff.

End my noob torment or I’ll blow this coal hungry monster up and spill nuclear fuel all over the valley

Update: thanks everyone for the good advice and choice memes. Got that fat bastard up the hill with a better run up and managing the wheel slip with the cutoff first instead of just pulling the regulator back and leaving the cutoff in the corner. Time to haul the entire yard back to the harbor! 906 tons, no rain this time…
This community rocks btw. Yall are pretty cool
