Magnus and Abigail are my main choice for this card. There are also three variants with Griddlehark, Harrianthe, and Campal that I'll post soon.

I wanted each version/variant of the Lovers card to have one element of the original Rider Waite Card to be incorporated into. For the Fifth, it was the fire that's seen on the right of the card.

This card was drawn quite a while ago and looking at it now, I think there are a few things I'll want to adjust for the final, cleaned up card. I still love the warm feeling I get form them though.

The empress always focuses a lot on motherhood. But how many loving mothers are there even in the series??? Besides Glaurica, >!Pyrrha !<I thought would fit this card as well. But I'm already having a familial piece in mind for the 10 of cups with her.

So, ultimately I chose Glaurica. I thought the very early scene where Harrow reads the Emperor's invitation letter that makes Glaurica cry about her son is a good fit for this card.
Ortus ended up looking a bit derpy so I'll have to adjust his face for the final card lol.
