Just can’t beat it man. Taking advantage of this hour to make some Cat Quest 2 progress.
What a journey that was. Phenomenal game and I see what the hype was about. This was my first roguelike.
I couldn’t get into it at first. Gameplay loop had the same gripe originally for me like COD Zombies was, where you spent all this time becoming powerful and having to start from scratch after dying became defeating. Was only able to muster a run or two at a time before moving to something else.
Then finally it clicked. I had a run with the bow (hated it up until this point) where I was immensely powerful and it was so much fun that it finally clicked and decided to not put the game down until I got all the achievements. The game not clicking at first and then being able to come back after a 2 month hiatus and finish it makes the completion that much sweeter.
Here’s to completing Hades 2 at some point in the future!
