Hello all!
So here is the situation I'm in currently,
I arrived in Barcelona around January in 2023 as a student, until now I've been studying and my course ( bachelors hon's ) will end at the end of December (2026 ),
I've also been working first as an intern and then as a part-time engineer in the same company for nearly 2.5years,
My employer is requesting a full time employee for my position ASAP, and they are willing to give me until December of this year to figure out my visa situation to work full time,
Since I'm not done with my studies and I'm in a student visa I can't work 40h a week and can't provide a completion of certification of the course, although I'm planning to go to my college and ask for a provisional letter that says I've finished my studies,
Also my current TIE will expire in the first week of next March ( 2027 ),
So even if I managed to get a provisional certificate of completion, I have a legitimate concern about the time line that I've mentioned in the visa renewal application ( which states studies will end on 27 Feb 2027 including results wait period ) will be flagged and make an issue on the conversion application,
My employer mentioned why I have till December cause they have only a budget for this position till December.
My question is , is there any other way that I can do the conversation without applying for other types of visas on my employers timeline( like internship visa ), because it's super hard to secure a job and I'm really happy and enjoy where I work now as an engineer.
Let me know if someone can help out, this has been stressing me a lot lately, if I should post this somewhere else I'll do that too!!
