Hey I recently found this camcorder, my mother bought it in the 90s (not sure what year) and now using it to digitalise all the home videos, the thing is, I tried to use it but it has a lot of issues, first the viewfinder is dead, only one vertical line across the screen is visible, (maybe some leaking capacitors?) second, i can't get any image out of the camera, I tried using, av, s video, but I can only see the interface, and all of the rest works perfectly, the ports, the tape mechanism, its hi8 and it works flawlessly, the microphone.

Just in case, yes I tried using the exposure and cranking it all the way up, the zoom also works, I can see the lens moving fisically,

Is there any easy fix for this? Or is this camera unstable?
