After 3 years, I found a longfin. Time to start a new bin and get to work and see what I come up with.

Always striving to improve. The work is never done.

One of my favorites because they look like mini koi and each have their own pattern, but one of the most challenging strains to keep true to form.

In the next generation you can expect only a handful or so to have all the desired traits. ie-low fixation rate.

Do you keep tricolors? What's been your hands on experiences breeding?

End goal is vivid orange/red body and bold markings.
