Front of the house has a beautiful saucer magnolia tree, but nothing else. Want to turn the strip against the house into a mulch bed but have no clue what to plant there. I love hydrangeas but I’m worried they would only look good less than half the year(Zone 6b). The space with the birdhouse is also empty and in need of some help. Any ideas are welcome.
