Hello all! I was wondering if it's socially acceptable in Japan to take away something small (like a muffin and a coffee) with you after eating at the hotel's breakfast buffet. I figured this could be an easy way to say a few bucks everyday by taking a snack to go for later. HOWEVER, I care more about being a good tourist and respecting local customs versus saving $3-5. TIA!
