Green Brick and Trim
Need some recommendations on a house I just bought! It is in the desert so that is a big factor in landscaping (or lack thereof)
The biggest thing is the green brick on the whole house. I do NOT want to paint the brick. I have been considering either staining the brick or doing a limewash. For the stain, I’m not sure what the possibilities are going from green. For limewash, it is typically applied over red/orange brick and I haven’t found any examples of it over green brick. I’m assuming it would look similar but instead of red parts showing through it would be green? Could look cool I supposed.
The roof just got replaced and we went with Owen Cornings Brownwood, with dark brown drip edge to match. We are going to be replacing the siding/fascia/soffits and trying to figure out what color would go with the roof color and brick color (after it isn’t green).
If staining brick is best option, what colors would work?
Labor cost isn’t a concern really as I’ll be doing the work myself, and no HOA. Hoping in the near future to take about half of the rock out of the front yard and get some native grass/plant bed going.
