Looking to move up in the world (of audio)

I'm looking to really get into better sounding wireless headphones. I do a little bit of music and YouTube, but a good bit of gaming. I'm not an audiophile by any stretch, but I know I'm leaving a lot out there with the cheap-ish gaming headset (Logitech G733) Ive been using for 5 or 6 years now. I have a standalone mic, so I don't need built-in, but as long as its not permanently affixed or always down, I could deal with it. I've been looking into options, but there are just too many of them, and reading up on recommendations, there's always the loud minority with issues that make the decision quite overwhelming.

Budget is $400 all-in, sans tax/shipping, etc., but not sure where the cutoff is for myself where the juice isn't completely worth the squeeze.

Products I've looked at (I'm not limiting to these options):
Arctis Nova 7 Wireless Gen 2
Arctis Nova Pro Omni
Sennheiser Momentum
Bose QuietComfort
Sony ULT Wear
