I like to make bootleg remixes of tracks that pull from many different dance genres. I find that describing them as 'EDM' or 'Dance' remixes is a little reductive and means that people already form their opinions before listening, but going too hyper-specific feels pretentious. Is this just another difficulty to selling your own music or have people found successful ways to navigate this?

I've linked 2 remixes I've done in the comments incase anyone is interested in giving them a listen and having a go at defining them (they're not particularly experimental but it would be cool to know what genres they cover) :)
