I need some advice from other folks who might have already gone through this process as the documentation online is super vague and I don't want the passport application to be rejected for silly things.
My son as born in UK in Feb and I finally managed to get his birth registration done. In the passport application portal (https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in) I'm allowed to give a UK address for him as long as I can produce documents for it. From my online search it looks like a utility bill or bank statements should suffice but those are all under my name and not his so I'm wondering whether they would be accepted.
My indian passport has a rental address in bangalore where I lived when I renewed it in 2020 so its not possible for me to give proof of residence for the indian passport address. anymore. I can submit my parents address but again there's no proof of residence for him or me.
Has anyone gone through this before? Unclear on what I should be doing.
