Help! I’ve recently moved into a house where the previous owner had these lovely laurel (?) trees outdoors. A few weeks after moving in and watering weekly, I noticed quite a lot of leaves with light green dust, yellowing, and/or browning and falling off. I’ve since cut back on watering (but am keeping the soil moist) and have given each tree some generic plant food.

I’m getting a different diagnosis every time I google it, but rather than an overwatering/underwatering problem, is it a fungal infection of some kind?

Any help is greatly appreciated :)
