Airlock has gotten more complicated
I have a Bullfrog X8 that's in good shape and I love it. Unfortunately I'm have a few minor issues that seen to be adding up.
When we put the hot tub in it was pretty level but I guess not level enough or maybe the ground has settled on the side closest to the yard. Either way, we've got about 2 inches of difference between the water level on one side and the other. This has created an issue where the jets on the side that's highest won't start after a water change. I researched this and found out it was most likely an airlock, opened the front panel, bled the line, and was good to go. That worked for awhile. (I was a little surprised that having filled the tub past all the jets I still consistently got an airlock on that side but oh well.)
After time this began happening on every refill. I accepted that bleeding the line was a part of the refill process and it was fine. Now however, I can bleed the line, start the pump, and the jets still won't work on that side. The pump is running audibly. I have tried starting and stopping it and sometimes that will work, but often it won't, and just because it works once, I could get in the next night, no drain/refill, and it may not work. I'm not sure what the problem is at this point. Any ideas?
TL/DR: Pumps on one side won't work after a refill and occasionally. Not the motor, not a typical airlock.
