Having Trouble Caring.
I've dropped the game after around 6 hours of play, Given what I know about myself It will be doubtful I try again, but I'm willing to have my mind changed.
The idea of the timeloop and why it's happening is semi interesting to me, but not hugely.
But the main issue I'm having is with the characters, both the ones you meet and the ones you read about.
None of these people I meet are interesting in the slightest, nor do they seem to care enough about exactly whats going on. So why should I? I would think >!Gabbro, who is in the timeloop!< would have a little bit more than tiniest bit of enthusiasm about any of the info we could share with each other, if they aren't interested in fixing whats going on. It made it really difficult for me to care either.
Another example being the maybe 6 lines of text you get from the characters combined after finding >!Feldspars location and whether he is ok.!<Given how much emphasis this gets prior.
None of this gets better with the Nomai writings, Despite the idea of a ancient civ somehow only being able to communicate with inscribed wall text, despite the technology they left behind being silly to me. The actual writing and dialogue is only slightly better than boring and is essentially just an information dump with the occasional joke in there.
This all led me to asking myself why am I caring about any of this whilst attempting to complete the Bramble Seed puzzle and failing time after time.
So someone help me, Do I find more reason to care about the world I'm in? Outside of just wondering why this is happening?
