Im on a Sony alpha camera with the new menu.
I want to set my camera's slot 1 memory to save everything except for shutter speed, iso and aperture, so everytime I turn this mode on, it will continue where I last left it to. How do I do that, or is it not possible? I saw that for reg. custom shoot set (on new menu > Red main camera shooting menu > 4 Shooting Mode > Reg. Custom Shoot Set), we can set those settings to not be saved and continue from where we left off. Is it possible to do that for the main memory modes 1,2 or 3? I know the better way to do that is just to use the pasm modes, where it will continue where we left off. The issue is that when I try to swap between memory modes to pasm, my camera freezes up and I have to eject the battery for it to turn back on. That's not healthy for the camera I think, so if you have a solution that prevents that from happening, Im happy to just use pasm instead of memory modes.
(The freezing up happens when I rotate the dial too fast, so I think it has loaded up the in between modes yet and I've already swapped to the next mode, causing it to freeze up. Unfortunately since Im on an older model, I don't have the video, photo and s&q switch, meaning that I have to rotate quick if for example I want to go from aperture priority to s&q.)
