Possible early miscarriage? 3 weeks after unprotected sex and now I’m really anxious
Hi everyone. I’m really anxious and honestly scared right now, so I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced something similar or has any idea what this could be.
About 3 weeks ago I had unprotected sex. Recently I only had 1 day of bleeding, which I thought was my period at first, but it suddenly stopped. Around the same time I had extremely painful cramps, way worse than my normal period cramps. The pain was so bad that even taking 2 paracetamol tablets didn’t help at all. I went to the bathroom I thought I was about to 💩, it was very painful and I’m having worse back pains. Then something came out of me, and after it came out after an hour, the stabbing pain suddenly stopped. Ever since then I’ve been overthinking whether this could’ve been some kind of miscarriage or something else. I’ve also been really emotional, irritated, low mood, exhausted, and had no appetite afterwards.
What made everything worse is that this happened while I was already severely stressed and depressed because of problems with my boyfriend and our situation. The cramps actually got worse during one of the times I was crying and emotionally overwhelmed, which scared me even more. I couldn’t tell him because we were arguing, and I honestly felt too alone and embarrassed to tell anyone else, so I ended up posting here instead.
I know nobody here can diagnose me, and I am planning to see a doctor especially if it turns out to be something serious, but I just wanted to ask if anyone has gone through something similar or has any opinions on what this might be.
TLDR: Had unprotected sex 3 weeks ago, only had 1 day of bleeding, severe cramps that didn’t respond to paracetamol, then something came out of me and the stabbing pain stopped afterwards. Now I’m anxious it could’ve been a miscarriage or something serious and I’m planning to see a doctor.
