Does anybody actually know what Skarloey and Rheneas' personalities are?
I keep seeing conflicting reports from around the fandom on how these two are supposed to be portrayed. Some say that Skarloey is the wise, serious, jovial leader and Rheneas is the more bubbly, extroverted, adventure seeker.
Meanwhile others say that Skarloey is the more cheeky, jokey, extroverted one while Rheneas is the more hardened, proper, serious of the two.
There's evidence to suggest both, and I'm not blaming anyone for thinking one way or the other. But there seems to be a noticeable disagreement in how these two should be written in stories and I'm trying to get to the bottom of this.
