We are talking about visiting Iceland in June 2027. I know I am a tourist among other tourists but I would like to have a realistic concept of the crowds.

We went to Italy in April and it was extremely crowded. The locals told us it was really a good time because the crowds were not as bad as during the summer. I can’t even imagine because we were shoulder to shoulder with other tourists and it was overwhelming. I just don’t want to be fooled by all of those beautiful Iceland Instagram reels and the reality is something completely different. Ai doesn’t always give an accurate description either when researching an area.
