I know 2008 was a magical season unlikely to ever be replicated and it ended tragically in that wildcard game but the expectations were about the same for us that year and sometimes low/no expectations take the pressure off and lets players just play. I know Pennington was a lot more proven than Malik Willis is but it's kinda similar in that we a strong run game, unknown WR group, kinda unknown defense that forced a lot of turnovers(18INT'S/16FF) and an offense that didn't run the ball over much. Idk if the secondary can hold up and the defense is able to create a few TO's here and there and the offense doesn't turn the ball over to much why can't we win some games and make a playoff push?
