Ammonia level
Someone please help me out here. I guess I can’t really tell what the ammonia level is in the tank via the color of the test. Is it too high? If so, how do I bring it down?

I purchased an Anubias plant on driftwood to add to my tank from our local pet shop. What precautions should I take prior to putting it in our tank in case there are hidden snails/hitch hikers on it? The pet store staff said to spray with hydrogen peroxide. Any other suggestions?

I’ve currently got my guy in a 20g long tank but am moving him to a 40g breeder in the very near future. His current tank only has a sponge filter so I plan on adding a canister filter to the larger tank. Is there anything I need to do regarding the new filter as well as any new hides/plants before transferring? I plan on keeping his current hide as well as the hammock and tile bottom. Thanks in advance.
