I haven’t bought Yugioh cards in probably 15 years, I wanted to see what Starlight and over frames looked in person. I’ve been pretty critical of the over frame VS actual full arts. So I was considering buying a box, ended up just buying one of those 5 pack bundles from Target.
As soon as I did, Big brother was listening and Ruxin34 was recc to me on YouTube(cool dude) and he said something that I had some questions on.
How can you guarantee that you are getting fair odds when buying product?
For instance if an Overframe is every other box and someone got one in like the 5th pack and now are selling the remaining packs of a box IDV or in bundles. You are getting scammed, right?
How safe is ever buying IDV packs or even boxes if Cases have predictable odds as well. Someone could open boxes until they hit the case limit and then sell the boxes they know don’t have the chase cards in them, right?
Is the only way to buy to have even odds? Is to buy a case?
