I Had A 1 Hour Conversation With Pablo

Hey Guys,

I recorded a 1 hour conversation with Pablo. These are the main bullet points of what we discussed:

  • How many languages does Pablo speak?
  • What method is Pablo using to learn Mandarin Chinese?
  • What was Pablo's experience of learning English like?
  • Should you use subtitles when listening to comprehensible input?
  • Should you take notes while listening to comprehensible input?
  • Should you use a translator?
  • Should you watch content that's above or below your current level?
  • Could comprehensible input be used in the classroom in schools worldwide?
  • Is it possible to learn grammar only through comprehensible input?
  • What are Pablo's future plans with his platform: Dreaming?

Have a watch, and enjoy :)

Does Anyone Have Any Ideas Why We've Been Rejected From Tiktok Monetization?

Hey guys. This is our channel: https://www.tiktok.com/@english_sponge

We help people to learn English. We have tons of views, but we've just been rejected for monetization. Do any of you guys know why?

This is quite frustrating. One of hour long-form videos has even hit 1 million views. But we aren't getting paid anything for it.

Possible reasons I've come up with:

- We have adverts for our website in the introduction of many of our videos

- The videos are reposted from Youtube

- We use the Youtube aspect ratio with black bars at the top and bottom.
