Negative MRI with Contrast PT and PA thought I would have a tear

35(f) former college soccer player and I just got my MRI results and the radiologist said everything looked great. I have had pain for the last 7 years with the last 6 months being absolutely terrible. I’ve had to stop running and playing various sports, driving and sitting is really annoying, and sometimes the sharp pain wakes me up in my sleep. I want to be able to run and play with my kids and workout again. I’ve been in PT for two months with slight improvement to range of motion but pain is the same. The only brief relief I’ve had is when they gave me the lidocaine for my
MRI. The pain feels like a sharp rod going through my groin and out my glute. If I move my hip the wrong way the sharp pain can be debilitating for a short time. I’m no stranger to pain, I’ve broken my sternum, tore all the ligaments in my ankle, and broke my wrist and tore the ligaments in my wrist all from playing soccer. Something just isn’t right but doctor says I’m fine. Anyone have any suggestion?
