Tesla Model Y (RWD) - Looking for replacement of my Michelin CrossClimate 2
Hey guys,
I've been pretty happy with my set of Michelin CrossClimate 2 here in Germany.
They overall worked remarkably well on the Tesla with Rear-Wheel-Drive.
The range benefits from the low rolling resistance, and the only thing I didn't like was the increasing noise as they got older.
They're close to 60.000 km (37.500 miles), and there is still 3-4 mm of tread left.
But with Winter on the horizon, I am looking for a replacement by October/November.
As I want to stay below the magic 1000 € for a new set, Michelin will be out, I guess.
And only the CrossClimate 3 Sport is available in 255/45 R19 104 Y here.
I'm now looking for similar or even better performance tires; my candidates are:
Hankook-ION Flexclimate SUV IL01A
(Should be quieter with sound absorber, but really as good as the premium brands, no reviews?)
Continental AllSeasonContact 2
Goodyear Vector All Season 4
I'll be happy to hear your opinion.
