Hi, I've read through the first 4 episodes of Umineko nearly a year ago now, and even then I did that over the course of another year-ish. I really want to get through the rest of it now and have for awhile, although this time without stopping (much.) But I'm a bit hesitant as idk how much and any important details I may have forgot since it's been a while. I did start reading the manga (need to start v3) but I heard the Stage Play was great too and I was intending on watching those at some point anyways, so:

Is the manga good as a refresher on all important details for the latter half of the visual novel and how do the stage plays compare to that? I was thinking of reading through 1-4 of the manga, then the stage plays 1-4 and then 5-8 visual novel, but idk if it's really worth it to go through both. I kind of just want to stop reading the manga and go through the stage plays before reading the vn, but I'm worried that it may leave out any important things and any "questions" that come up in the answer arcs. Even then, if there's a better way to get up to speed with everything let me know please :)
