Unlocking Steam Achievements with ROG Ally

I am starting a playthrough of Dispatch on the ROG Ally (runs perfectly fyi)

Anyway there are certain achievements I want to unlock. Will playing it on the ROG Ally Xbox, allow me to unlock achievements?

Not sure if I will get a notification mid game or not.

Looking it up it appears to be one of the more powerful moves for electric types but seems to have a pretty bad accuracy issue. If any enemy is close or charges your pal while they are casing it, the bolts wont hit and its wasted.

Is it a more situational move to use rather than a direct single attack target
