I am done for now. Even when I feel a bit down and out, my room is a place to enjoy music.

KEF LS50 Meta, NAD C3050 Integrated Amplifier, REL TZero MKIII, WiiM Pro streamer, Integra CDC-3.4 CD changer (transport), Fluance RT 85 (with an upgraded Audio-Technica VM540ML, Schiit Mani 2 (I think it sounds a bit better than the amp’s phono) and a nice subscription of Qobuz.

Small room, big Maiden fan (on the wall, artist Lois VanLiew on the left, and if you are a Maiden fan, you know the poster on the right). The speakers a very analytical and holographic (coming from a Wharfedale Diamond series, it’s like night and day), my sweet spot is about 70 to 80 db. The Ref sub gives a nice little punch. I use the dac of the amplifier and I got it say, it is very good.

No room correction, just keeping the speakers away from the wall. I have few panels, one in the corner (some hidden on the window), and a wall of records and some CDs on the opposite wall. The room feels right.

RT 85 came with the Ortofon Blue. It is a decent cartridge, but I think it was a bit too harsh. The Audio Technica VM540ML is a noticeable improvement, more musical, just right.

Still one of my favorite ways to unwind after a long day.
