Thinking about buying this 2007 Honda trx450ER checklist I'm using. Am I missing anything?

I posted before but I’m getting closer to actually buying, so I tightened up my checklist based on advice. Trying to avoid getting burned.

Make sure engine is COLD when I arrive
Start it:
Look for smoke
Listen for knocking/ticking
Check for oil leaks
Ask:
Hours
Rebuild history

Check front sprocket area
Engine case
Air filter clean
Bike looks maintained (not dirty/neglected)

Axle bearings (check side-to-side play)
Swingarm:
Bushing play
Cracks

Shifts smooth through all gears
Clutch feels normal (not slipping or super stiff)

Check for frame cracks
Look for fresh paint covering damage
Check bottom of exhaust for dents (sign it’s been ridden hard)
Stripped/missing bolts = bad maintenance

I’m looking at buying a Honda 400EX and wanted to know what I should check before I pull the trigger.

I’ve heard these quads are super reliable, but I know that really depends on how the previous owner treated it.
What are the main things I should look for when checking it out?

I’m looking to upgrade my OPNsense firewall hardware and could use some recommendations from people running Suricata + Zenarmor on fanless systems.

Current hardware:

  • Sophos XG 125 Rev.3 It’s been reliable, but once I enable Suricata or Zenarmor the CPU gets overwhelmed and throughput tanks. Time to move on.

Requirements for the upgrade:

  • Must handle Suricata on WAN + Zenarmor on LAN without major performance loss
  • Fanless only (noise is a hard requirement)
  • 6–8 Ethernet ports (Intel NICs preferred)
  • Budget: under $300
  • Low power consumption is a plus
