I've seen the master list of amps floating in and out of circulation over the last couple years. Does anyone have an knowledge to the pedal effects for each of the archetypes? Are they modeled after physical pedals? I know very little about physical pedals. I don't even know if all/most/some overdrive pedals do the same thing, for example.

Maybe I just need to educate myself better in what each pedal does, first. But was hoping for something to narrow my research down to.
