I tore my ACL playing badminton so i had to get surgery..

And i had been waiting for the entirety of season 2 to get released so I could binge..

And with the absolute best timing....

I started the first episode while in a busy waiting room n it was soooo damn accurate in terms of the setting and the different departments and for the very first time i could understand the chaos..

And i could see in real time all the gears working together..

At one point a patient had a loud crashout and it literally felt like i was literally in the show...it was impressive how professionally the nurses dealt with him.

Finished all episodes in 2ish days and its brought in a whole new perspective and so much appreciation for every staff, be it the nurses, the cleaning staff and the doctors... seeing first hand how they had their own lives, their inside jokes and how they tried to uplift n cheer up their fellow staff...just like banter n fun between the characters in the show..

Made me realise how we sometimes forget that they're people too and not a soulless system..

I can talk on and on about how impactful the show has been for me n how i can never get enough of it..

Id not mind if there was a new season released every week..

The empathy it made me feel for the patients in the show was so genuine as well...

The surgery is over n im in the General Ward rn and id typically be annoyed by the noisy patient in the next bed...but i now realise that every person around me in the Ward is having one of their worst days and is in pain just like me.

My leg still hurts like hell n im writing this trying to keep myself distracted
