Got my first ever vinyl disc. And it was from the Pet Shop Boys!

So, this Wednesday I bought my first vinyl disc! And it was the album Actually from the Pet Shop Boys. I bought it in a store in Fortaleza, capital of the state of Ceará, Brazil. Since the beginning I went on this trip with the intention of buying something from the Boys while there. Whatever I could find.

I checked some stores that had websites, but every time their records were out of stock. But in a moment of luck, while walking from one place to another with a friend, he pointed out to this store I haven't seen on the other side of the street. And there it was! Best of all, it wasn’t so expensive. The owner of the store was even very kind and gave me a little discount.

To end the stuff, I'm really happy I could buy it. I hope to find other media in the future. I'm looking to get either Bilingual or Introspective next. But not so soon, for now I'll give my wallet a little rest lol. Thank you for reading!

Got addicted to the Pet Shop Boys for the last few weeks!

Hello everyone! As I said in the title, since the middle of June, I've been completely hooked on them. It’s simply too good! For context, I’m a 23-year-old man from Brazil, and I wouldn’t say I was totally oblivious to their music. I already knew some of the most famous ones. Like It’s A Sin, West End Girls, and Domino Dancing. This is influenced by my parents both listening to a lot of 80s and 90s pop music while I was a kid. But only really recently, when I got recommended some other songs through Spotify, did I start to listen more and more. This made me fall in love with their work. So I decided to start to listen to their entire discography. And damn, I was missing so much I ended up returning to their albums constantly. The rhythm catches you like a trap! And the lyrics sometimes make you feel you’re in that song!

Looking through their career, I couldn’t help but feel heartwarming inspiration. As someone who dreams of doing art, it’s wonderful and moving to see both Neil and Chris going strong to this day showing their work to the world.

By now I’m still not done listening to everything, but I'm close. Maybe in the future I will make a post about the songs I liked the most from each one of the albums.

I'm happy this sub exists so I can share this with you all! Thank you for reading!
