OS knocked off crown
My OS knocked off a crown recently on a referred patient. They sent the patient to my office the next day to recement it.
Would you charge the patient for crown recementation? Write it all off? Have the OS pay something?
Patient wasn’t too upset. It’s not a big deal and relatively inexpensive material cost-wise.
It’s happened before to myself, and I’ve had it happen before with specialists in the past, so I understand that sometimes it’s almost unavoidable. I had a conversation with the OS and we’re totally cool.
I just don’t think I’ve seen this situation discussed before and am curious what everyone’s response is. Thanks!
