Hey everyone! I’ve been running for a decent amount of time and just hit a PR today in the 2 mile. Just wanted to say to not give up for those who are worried about the run! You got this, just keep at it and don’t give up. I used to run 20 minute miles when I started so trust me when I say this, if you just run, no matter the time nor the distance, it’s only up from there!!

**Side note, anyone have any speed training workouts that have showed results (no track)? I only do easy runs and thresholds, I fear I might hit a wall soon. Also anyone have advice on how I can keep myself dedicated to doing push-ups and sit-ups everyday? I struggle with doing them which shows in the numbers I can do. My push-ups and sit-ups are my worst sections of the pt.

Since my 6 months are almost up, I've decided to retake the EDPT test. Any tips or advice? I got a 52 last time so i really need to try and find 18 more points.

Here was my tactic going in for my first test: I heard that the best way to take the test was to skip the AR questions straight away. So i took the test in order without answering any AR questions. Should i change my strategy? Maybe i should just take the test like normal and in order? or should i do one subject first, then the next, and so on. I was able to finish everything except literally every AR question so i left 30 questions on the table. How does one pace themselves?

For those who passed, how did you process each question (especially the AR questions). Was there a shortcut you used (for example only looking at the numbers and figuring out what it wanted, rather than reading the whole question). Any tips, practice websites, resources would be much appreciated.
