I have this small water closets that has a little roof section. Not sure what this vent is doing (besides giving airflow to the unconditioned cellar) but unfortunately it cracked from falling ice this winter. I’m quite skilled with carpentry (replaced a door and some windows, soffit repairs) but never touched shingles and roof stuff.

I’m inclined to repair this as is and not try to finagle getting it off and risk damaging the existing roofing. Any thoughts on solutions? This is a utility area so doesn’t have to be a pristine looking option but also don’t want it to look like a meth head repaired it
