New Grad Offer - Advice?
Currently considering a new grad engineering offer at BMcD. I interned over the summer, but my team wasn’t in need of another full time hire, so my offer is in a different city that I’m not super thrilled about, though it is very close by my college. Currently debating between taking the job, or trying to look for a job in the city I want.
I was obviously only told great things about why I should come back to the company. I’m hoping to hear a more unbiased opinion, maybe from folks who have worked at other companies too?
Sure, the work culture is good, but is it really that rare compared to other engineering firms? Is the ESOP truly as game changing they say it is regarding retirement & personal finances? I’m not completely tied to the type of work I was doing, so I would likely consider other kinds of engineering work as well if I didn’t take the offer. I have to decide on the offer before I would be able to look at other job opportunities in another city. I’ve also been very much warned against accepting the offer and then continuing to look at other companies.
Is BMcD worth it for you guys?
