Hi all, I'm building a low level deck for someone. I'm confident with the frame work but just would like some advice on the support. I don't want to overcomplicate it but equally don't want it sinking. I'd quite like to just rest it ontop of breeze blocks as it's cost effective and doesn't require putting any wood into the ground. But would like to know what to put underneath the block. Should I just pour mini slabs, levelled for the blocks to sit on or use gravel, Type 1? This is in the SW of the UK and if its relavent I'll be building a fence surround, the area is to sectioned off. The customer has also just put a soak away beneath the area for a hot tub. Which is why I'd like to avoid digging as much as possible, the fence is outside of the soak away
