Landlord ignoring messages
Just looking for some general advice from someone who may have experienced similar.
I have been renting from my landlord for years and have been very lucky to not have an increase, which we have been super grateful for. She sent a text message on the end of March stating an increase on the rent (completely fine), asked me and my partner for confirmation of our emails for paperwork to be sent out with notice from April.
She has been radio silent since that message. I have sent messages / called about this & about something in the house that’s needed to be fixed for over 6 months and have had nothing. All I have is her phone number so I’m unsure where to go from here.
We receive income support, at the moment, due to me being pregnant with my second child and are trying to get documentation in order so we are able to pay it more comfortably. We paid it last month (which I now think may have been a mistake because of the lack of formal confirmation) without the extra support and are noticing the difference, even if small in the scheme of things.
I just need the official documentation. Feeling a bit stuck!! It’s been almost 2 months of no contact and I’m starting to spiral!
