About five years ago, I posted here a little fact about Orthodox Jews avoiding using the plus sign. (Needles to say, this is not out of disrespect for anyone else's beliefs, but simply as a technical stringency to not draw iconography that is held by many opinions to be an _issur_. Everyone can use whatever symbols they like, and I wish 'em all health and happiness.)

Anyway, this morning I came across screenshots of my old post.

Turns out that what I meant as a window into a niche cultural custom is now put on display as "proof" that we can't tolerate others.

Anyway, sorry for the mess, y'all.
