"Show this iPhone when on WiFi" not working
I've always relied on the "Show this iPhone when on WiFi" feature for syncing music between my Macbook Pro (M4) and phone (iPhone 13) because it's a whole lot more convenient than connecting the cable each time. It's always been a bit temperamental - for as long as I can remember, at least once a week the Mac has stopped seeing the phone and required me to hook up the cable to re-establish the link.
As of yesterday, though, ever since my phone updated to 26.4.2, the wifi connection hasn't worked at all. Connect the lightning to USB-C cable? No problem, the laptop recognises it immediately. But as soon as I disconnect the cable, it disappears again. I've tried restarting both devices, tried toggling "Show this iPhone when on WiFi" off and on, made sure they're both on the same WiFi network... no dice.
Can anyone help me here? Anything else I can try?
PS. I'm on Sequoia 15.7.5 in case that helps. Also worth noting that the Mac has no trouble seeing the phone as a personal hotspot.
